OUR MISSION

The Colorado Prosthodontic Society (CPS) is the longest running dental society in Colorado. We have been an integral of Colorado’s dental history and advancing dental education  since 1887. Originally part of the Colorado State Dental Association, our society grew from a merger of two Denver dental groups into the Denver Dental Association in 1897. This era saw significant educational strides under the leadership of G.V. Black at Northwestern University, fostering a tradition of knowledge enhancement that led to the inception of the Mid-Winter Clinic in 1905, now known as the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention.
